Art, Food & Wine Fundraiser to Benefit The Children’s Home

The Children’s Home signature fundraiser, FACES 2018, will take place on Friday, October 26th from 6-10 pm at M&T Bank Stadium South East Club Level Lounge.  The Children’s Home is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit which provides academic support, recreation, therapeutic counseling, arts and culture and life skills to Maryland’s at-risk children and youth.

FACES 2018 will feature gourmet food, beer and wine, raffle drawings, a DJ for dancing and interactive art tables.  Silent auctions which feature photography and artwork created by children and youth living in The Children’s Home.  There is room for 250 guests to attend this extraordinary event.

Taste of the 21228: A Fundraising Success!

The Knights of Columbus Patapsco No. 1960 and Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce partnered to host the August 23rd Taste of the 21228.  This event was a fundraiser to help the area businesses, employees and residents who were affected by the May 27th floods in Catonsville.

The $50 ticket included live music, drinks and food donated by area restaurants.  With the 160 people who attended about $15,000 was collected.  The chamber collected the money and will be writing checks to the victims of the flooding.

Maryland Tax Free Week!

Sunday, August 12 through Saturday, August 18 shoppers can take advantage of tax free savings at stores near them!    Customers purchasing eligible clothing and footwear totaling $100 or less will not have to pay taxes on their purchases.  When it comes to what is and isn’t exempt, make sure you check out the list of exempt items so you don’t have any surprises at the register.

During Tax Free Week, The Maryland Retailers Association is having a social media contest which will award two winners with a $2,500 and $1,000 scholarship.

“Taste of the 21228” Fundraiser for Flood Victims

The Knights of Columbus Patapsco Council No. 1960 and The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce are partnering to present “The Taste of the 21228” on August 23, 2018 from 6-10 pm.  This event is a fundraiser to help the businesses, employees and residents who were affected by the floods in May.

The $50 tickets are all-inclusive for the event that will take place at the Knights of Columbus at 1010 Frederick Road.

Catonsville July 4th Recap

The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate America’s independence and spend time with friends and loved ones.  Like most towns, Catonsville gives its residents a fun filled day of games, a parade and fireworks.  Take a look at this year’s highlights.

Fourth of July Festivities

Catonsville’s Annual Fourth of July parade and festivities will begin this year at 8:30 am and will conclude with fireworks at 9:30 pm.  This year’s activities include a patriotic bike ride, sack races and wheelbarrow races at Catonsville High School, live music and Family Fun Fest.  The annual parade will begin at 3pm and the fun filled day will close with fireworks at 9:30.
