This year Easter will be different than others. Families won’t be gathering in large groups around the table and it’ll be a smaller family affair. Faidley Seafood who have been serving up delicious seafood from their Lexington Market location since 1886 has moved forward with their plans to open up a restaurant and event space in Catonsville. The Baltimore County liquor board commissioners awarded a beer, wine and liquor license to the project on Monday allowing Damye Hahn, daughter of Faidley Seafood owner, Nancy Faidley Devine, to move forward with the purchase of the former Plymouth Wallpaper Co building on Frederick Road. In addition to a first floor restaurant and second floor event space, the Frederick Road location would also serve as the new home for mailing their crab cakes which they’ve done for four decades. The new restaurant wouldn’t open until early next year and their other location will be an anchor in the redeveloped Lexington Market which is should open mid-2021.
