Visited here today, and honestly an 11/10 experience! I would say I'm a beginner/intermediate crocheter and Amanda helped me in detail what I should do to create my project. She also helped me find quality yarn in my budget as well. I also found some stuff not a lot of big chain stores have! The store has really nice and high quality yarn, although a bit over my budget, there's always something there for everyone :)
A beginner at knitting I took some lessons with Jenn and finished my first hat. The pattern Jenn chose incorporated different knitting techniques.. garter, ribbing, stockinette and DPNs as well as circular needles. She was very patient and a wonderful teacher. The shop has a lot of beautiful yarn and the staff is extremely helpful
This is a great yarn shop! I love their ‘house' yarn, Tempting Ewe Yarns! Beautiful colors, and it works up so nicely! I made sure to get enough for a bunch of projects! And the staff was endlessly patient with me, stumbling around their shop in a stupor! (This was my first visit to a yarn shop since the closures due to COVID-19.) This is a must visit if you're in the area!
BEST YARN SHOP IN MARYLAND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! They have a great selection of yarn, hooks, etc!! They also offer private lessons and I had my first one today with Cas and it was wonderful! She is super helpful & knowledge & very patient! I love this shop, so happy I found it 💎 🧶 â¤ï¸ thank you!!!!
There are so few options for yarn/spinning/weaving/knitting/crochet supplies in the greater Baltimore area I'm not surprised the shop is busy but it would not be my first choice. I signed up for a two hour private in-person spinning lesson to learn how to use my wheel. On the website it explicitly says "Topics with spindles OR spinning wheels can be tackled in private lessons. Beginning spinning lessons on a spindle OR wheel should be booked for a 2 hour duration" I booked two hours and thought they would follow up to see what I was hoping to learn. They did not so a few days later I called to tell them my goal for the two hours - a beginner lesson for spinning on my new wheel. They seem surprised I had even blocked the times which was a little red flag I wish I hadn't ignored. I was asked if I had a drop spindle. I said I did but I wasn't interested in using it. I was told that I have to learn the drop spindle first and they would have one for me to use if they didn't like mine an
